3 Deadly Animals

Opponent off? Poison has long been a widely used agent. It is not just people who can handle the murder weapon. Animals use it just as much. Three extremely deadly animals:

1. Box Jellyfish

In the waters around Indonesia and to the north of Australia you have to be very careful. The box jellyfish swims namely around there. That name may sound funny, but this square animal is dangerous. After one bite, you get a heart attack within minutes. It is estimated that every year he has about 100 to 200 deaths on his conscience in Southeast Asia. In Australia, he has slain 80 people over the past 100 years. They even think this jellyfish has a worldwide total of more than 5,000 casualties since 1954.

2. Indigenous taipan

Of all the snakes that live on land, this is the most toxic, the inland taipan in Australia. A bite from this snake contains enough poison to kill 100 people. Or 250,000 mice. He is, for example, 68 times more toxic than the king cobra and even 740 times more toxic than the Texan rattlesnake. Vomiting and paralysis are among the symptoms. In 45 minutes, it can be done with you. Fortunately this snake very shy. And if you already were bitten you then rush to the doctor. There is, in fact, an antidote.

3. Marbled Cone snail

You would not say, but also slugs can be dangerous. A drop of the poison of the marbled cone snail can kill 20 people. The snail is found in reefs along the coast of warm tropical seas and oceans as in the Caribbean. Be careful, because there is no antidote. Whoever touches a shell or picks, is to be put at risk by a small harpoon-like tooth. It can sometimes take a few days to a cross before you get short of somewhere. Intense pain, swelling, muscle paralysis and respiratory problems are among the symptoms. As far as known so far about 30 people slain by the snail.
