Battle between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump

The mudslinging between Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Donald Trump has reached a new low after a controversial article in the tabloid National Enquirer. It Cruz is accused of extramarital affairs with five women. According to the deeply conservative Republican opponent is Trump behind the story that he calls moreover complete nonsense.


"It's tabloid pulp Donald Trump and his henchmen come," Cruz said Friday. He pointed out that the magazine as source quotes a former adviser to the Trump campaign. When the story of five anonymous photographs of mistresses were posted after the American press immediately opened the hunt for their identity.

The magazine National Enquirer is notorious for its provocative stories that do not often go beyond beaten by gossip journalism, but also because of the spicy firsts. Trump says he has nothing to do with the story but then noted in a written statement or subtly that the magazine often right, "I hope they are next to the Liar Ted Cruz are.
